The Civil Cortijo is located outside the urban area of Oria in the Sierra de las Estancias to 1,025 meters above sea level, opposite the Parque Natural Sierra de María, less than an hour from the beach. Surrounded by mountain scenery, forests of pines and oaks, almond trees and cereal crops. Oria until 2009 had 2,898 inhabitants.
