It offers a rich landscape environment with absolutely stunning to the point that has been listed as a Biosphere Reserve, is a region with an important water wealth, which leads to the presence of several mills.
It can be seen in the region of Ribeira de Piquin the presence of various granaries dating back to Roman times and which are still preserved as an attraction for tourists.The former granary was constructed for the storage of grain, were regularly made of wood and supported on stone pillars. Today some still are used for storing potatoes, wheat, corn, slaughter, the hotel still retains two.
The hotel has a history of more than 200 years built of stone and wood that was refurbished by 2008. It has 12 rooms with private bath, whirlpool, TV, piped music, air conditioning, telephone, parking area, Spa: Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, gym, showers. Of the 12 rooms one of them is similar to suites, dining room with seating for 160 people, living room, library, facilities for disabled.
